Lawn Aerators

While dethatching is important for healthy turf by removing dead material from the surface of the soil, aerating enables grass roots to receive air, water and nutrients for healthy roots and healthy turf.  Aerate your lawn at least once – preferable twice per year.  Aerate prior to overseeding and fertilizing so the seeds can fall down into the aeration holes and fertilizer will not wash away with rain.
